SJ!- Superjail Empire Map As of 2101

This is an interesting map I made based on the Master War novel/fanfic I might work on sometime this year or next year. This map covers the Americas and the Carribean islands.

However, the starring country or "empire", I should say, is the dark purple pieces of land known together as the Superjail Empire.

This empire, which has headquarters in the original penal colony of Superjail Island, has had a geographical advantage in annexing a part of Florida, half of Cuba, a small chunk of Jamaica, and the tip of Mexico; all lands it annexed are either surrounding or in the Gulf of Mexico.

I made an educated assumption that the original penal colony was somewhere near Mexico, perhaps on an island near the tip. After all, Superjail was built inside a presumably-extinct volcano on the site where millions of Aztec Indians were sacrificed to the gods. I doubt the creators of the show actually put that much thought into the location, but it's just an assumption.

How the penal colony of Superjail became a country: It isn't actually recognized as being part of the U.S. However, it's been put into use anyway as a place for convicted prisoners, who are predominantly male, to go whenever the American prisons are full or simply refuse to let them in due to their records. The Warden may have used this to justify secluding from the U.S. and becoming its own country. It took a while for most of the Americans to recognize it as such, but when they did, they either supported it or detested it.

Government structure: First off, it originally had one ruler: the Warden himself. Sometime after the twins Ajax and Adele's birth, two and a half years in fact, Ultraprison dissolved and merged with Superjail, partly because of the two children Warden and Mistress had together. It seemed ideal that the new, improved Superjail should now have two rulers, but Lord Stingray, who had taken over Superjail before it became a country and was defeated soon after, wanted a part in ruling this newfangled empire. So, he was coronated as the third emperor to rule alongside Emperor Warden and his wife, Empress Mistress. Caldeur, however, felt left out and so, simply because he felt sorry for his long-time dimwitted assistant, Emperor Stingray let Caldeur join them as the fourth and last emperor.

These four emperors and the two co-empresses, Venetia Stingray and Megumi Wessels, reside in a somewhat mansion-like conjoined apartment complex on top of a steel dome built over the original prison, which Adele "Mad Adder" and her brother Ajax are left to run until Mad Adder succeeds her mother and father as empress.

Alice still resides in the original prison, except joining her are Bruce and his family and a slew of new recruits, most notably her biggest fan Heloise Moon, the Australian import Christine King, the other gay male Gardevoir Jonah, and Bruce's younger equivalent Dana Schneider, a female-to-male transgender. The prison guards also serve as the police force for the government, only used to harass and attack the people should Emperor Warden think there are people conspiring against the government.

Jared and Cherice are the emperors' top henchmen, working alongside brother-and-sister Chancellors Guinevere and Dido Wessels, part-time assassin Bonnibelle, Io, and many others.
